How To Get Sticker Residue Off | Glass & Windows

how to get sticky labels off glass

It’s a lot of fun to decorate windows using window stickers. However, if you don’t want to be recognised in the area as someone who keeps special decorations up for months, you must take down the decorations once the event is over.

Residue and stains are difficult to remove and clean up after. So here’s how it’s done. But first, here are the two items you’ll require: (1) a microfiber cloth, and (2) a cleaning solution.

How to get stickers off windows: a simple guide:

  1. Wet a cloth and place it on the table. Wipe the filth that has accumulated on the window with it.
  2. Using the cleaning solution, squirt it on the gummy area and leave it to sit for up to 10 minutes. This makes cleaning the residue off the window much easier.
  3. Using the microfiber cloth, gently scrub the residue away. You may not be able to remove all of the residues at once, so scrub a little harder and continue these procedures until the residue is gone.
