Warmer weather is here, which means it’s time to increase your studio space. If you’re a personal trainer or a gym owner, a breath of fresh air will revitalise your business.
Consider holding group courses (or private training sessions!) outside to take advantage of the sunshine while also encouraging safe social distance. You’ll create enthusiasm among your present clientele as well as the opportunity to offer more programmes. (Perhaps they’ll enjoy working out in a fresh environment!) Outdoor classes are also a terrific way to attract passers-by who could be interested in your services… Simply employ the correct branded products to generate interest in your company.
You may have come to learn that many schools setup outside schools to encourage children to come back to school.
T-shirts, for starters.
Wear a logo T-shirt to class to represent your brand…and make sure any employees or assistants do, too. T-shirts are also wonderful for consumers — loyal customers want to flaunt their devotion to their favourite businesses, so have a stack on hand to sell at the end of class. Consider giving away or raffling a limited-edition T-shirt to express your gratitude to your customers.
2. Colourful flags
With eye-catching flags, you can attract new clients to your outdoor classes (while also making it easier for current ones to find you). Use a few to make a route that leads clients to the workout area, and one to identify a meeting spot or check-in location. Because you can remove and reinstall flags wherever your classes take you, they’re ideal for portable branding, meaning hosting your classes outdoors will be an easy adjustment and transition.
3. A set of business cards
Bring a stack of business cards to your outdoor lessons so that people will remember their positive experiences with your company. On one side, include a QR code that leads to your online schedule and allows individuals to easily sign up for their next class.
+ How to Prepare for Success with your Outdoor Classes:
Make a dedicated workout area.
Define the location with signage and designate a meeting spot, whether you’re hosting outdoor courses in a neighbouring park or your studio’s parking lot. Block off the area with a temporary barrier, such as rope, placards, or simply a chalk sketch on the ground. Make sure you follow local regulations and have the necessary permits before setting up your classroom, and be sure to clean up afterwards.
Provide outdoor-ready equipment.
Remaining well stocked and prepared for your outside classes. Make every effort to replicate the studio experience outside, such as by providing fresh towels and cold water. Offer branded water bottles to anyone who has forgotten their own – they’ll continue to promote your company long after they’ve left class.
Establish a secure setup procedure.
Everyone is concerned about their safety right now, so make sure your clients feel protected as soon as they come. Set out sanitised free weights, workout mats, or exercise bikes for your workout before class begins…and make sure they’re socially separated. Encourage attendees to use hand sanitiser before and after class.
Make use of a microphone or a sound system.
Using a microphone and speaker setup, ensure that everyone can hear you (and your music) during class. Having your class outside may have some difficulties, but its very easy to prepare for. This may differ from what you use indoors, so give it a shot before you start your outdoor classes.
Use your imagination when it comes to social networking.
Make sure everyone in the studio is aware that you’re going outside. Show off your new setup on Instagram, or broadcast your courses on Facebook to invite folks to participate from the comfort of their backyards.
